About Our Chief Executive Officer (Architect)

Dr. Mercedes N. Kirkland-Doyle is a U.S. Army veteran, organizational strategist, and trusted advisor to senior leaders, with over 25 years of experience driving performance, resolving complex workplace challenges, and strengthening leadership effectiveness.

She holds a Doctor of Management in Community College Policy Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and has completed executive education at Georgetown University and Yale University. Her credentials include mediation, conflict resolution, Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue, federal EEO compliance, Lean Six Sigma, The Speed of Trust, and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s The New IQ.

Mercedes has delivered more than 2,400 trainings to executives, leadership teams, and full workforces—focused on leadership, accountability, conflict resolution, and organizational performance. In senior leadership roles, including Deputy Director, she has led initiatives that improved engagement, strengthened leadership standards, and advanced organizational outcomes.

She is also the founder of The Good News Community Kitchen, a nationally, award-winning, recognized nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger and strengthening communities.

Her work has earned multiple honors, including Citizen of the Year and 40 Under 40. With experience across the United States and internationally, she brings a disciplined, strategic, and results-focused approach to every engagement.
